Explore your Medicare Possibilities

Original Medicare is a fee-for-service health plan with two parts: Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance). After you pay a deductible, Medicare pays its share of the Medicare-approved amount, and you pay your share (coinsurance and deductibles). Generally, Medicare is available for people age 65 or older, younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or transplant). If you believe you qualify for Medicare, please give us a call to discuss your options.

Parts of Medicare:

There are four main parts in our Medicare

Part A (Hospital Insurance)

Hospital insurance involves providing facilities related to the hospital itself. As a result, you will get various services from the hospital, making the entire medical process better for you.

The facilities covered by Hospital insurance are:

  • Care in a specialized nursing center

  • Palliative nursing

  • Health care at home

  • Hospital inpatient treatment

Part B (Doctor Insurance)

The second part of Medicare is involved with covering up your expenses related to the doctors and your medical treatment. Again, just like part A, you get costs of different facilities covered up for you.

The doctor insurance covers up for you:

  • Medicolegal Services

  • Outpatient Treatment

  • Services for Prevention

  • Healthcare Equipment

Part C (Medicare Advantage)

Part C of Medicare is a great all-in-one replacement to the old, classic Medicare. In addition to a few additional facilities and benefits, you also get part A: Hospital insurance and Part B: Doctor insurance. Not only the part A and part B insurances, but it sometimes also include the Part D: Prescription drug coverage. Part C is to be gained from a private insurance company.

The additional facilities you’ll get from Part C are:

  • Covers up costs for local doctors and treatments

  • Covers up for other treatments such as dental treatment, vision and hearing treatment.

Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage)

Part D of the Medicare program is concerned with covering up your prescription costs. However, just like Part C, you can only get it from a private insurance company. So there is a slight chance that if you don't enroll when you become initially eligible for the plan and try to enroll late on, you will have to face a penalty.

Senior Man

Medicare will give you two possibilities.

When you sign up for Part A: Hospital insurance plan and Part B: doctor insurance, you have to move on to the next step, which involves some choice making. After choosing the methods, you will have two options: Nevada Medicare supplement, or the Medicare Advantage plan.

There are certain advantages and disadvantages with both these plans, making it crucial that you choose the plan which best suits your needs. On the other hand, choosing the wrong plan can lead to some unpredicted troubles and worries. Hence, it is vital to consult professionals with authentic licenses to give you a good insight into what plan will be better for your needs.

  • One of the advantages of a Medicare advantage plan is that there are plans with $0 premiums.

  • Keep in mind that an advantage Medicare is more of a local plan, and you would need to stay within the network.

  • A major advantage of a Medicare Supplement plan would be that it is a national plan.

  • With a Medicare Supplement, any doctor that takes Medicare will take your supplement regardless of the Insurance company you are with.

  • There are many factors in both advantage and Medicare Supplement plans. That is why we encourage you to reach out to us so that we can walk you through the many choices.
